testing out my blog
a new development!
hi there!!
to those who are reading (most likely my friends/family), welcome to my first blog post! i'm not entirely sure what i'll put in this blog yet, but here i am! i'm mostly just happy to be able to say that i coded this entire website from the ground up by myself. that's not something i ever thought i'd be able to say. sure, i stole some code here and there. but the important thing to me is that i actually understand what i've stolen before stealing it.
since i was a kid, i've always dreamed to learn code this way: exploring and studying working code and implementing that into my own vocabulary like a language. like when you learn phrases and words together and learn grammar intuitively from what you've learned. i feel like i'm doing the same here. i'm learning syntax and rules of coding by just looking at other working code. im taking apart the code i'm stealing and repurposing them and learning them that way. i know i'm probably over-explaining at this point but i don't care! it's my blog! i just like to over-explain for my own sake!
all this web developing shit is probably gonna be a big hyperfixation of mine for a month at most, but i wanna enjoy it while it lasts. at the very least, i wanna hope that this will last longer than just a month. maybe it can turn into a job cause i really need one of those! a stable one too! i'm not gonna even bother thinking about how AI might put that in danger because i can already tell it'll be demotivating as fuck. i just wanna learn something cool and enjoy it. fuck AI, i can't wait for the bubble to burst. maybe the AI bubble bursting will allow me to get a job in this department. maybe that's wishful thinking? who knows lol.
but anyway, if you're still reading this, thanks for staying and absorbing my rambling! i hope you've enjoyed hearing my thoughts. have a great day! <3
